Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
The students will be picked up from their accommodation by a Msafiri tours guide and driver and
you will head Western to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will make a brief stopover at the
Equator in Kayabwe to take photographs. You will drive on, stopping in Mbarara for Lunch
thereafter drive on to Queen Elizabeth national park.
Day 2: Game drive and Launch Cruise
The students will have an early breakfast and then go for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi
area. You may see animals like Lions, Buffaloes, Leopard, Elephants, Kob, Antelopes, Spotted
Hyena and the elusive giant forest hog. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon you will for a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. You will get up close to a
variety of animals like hippos, buffalo linger in the shallows. The shores of the channel are also
home to an array of birds including pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle
billed stork and many others.
After the boat safari you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park via the southern
sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park also called Ishasha. In this sector you might see the
rare tree climbing lions. You will drive on to Bwindi arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight
stay at the lodge.
Day 4: Mountain Gorilla Trekking
The students will have an early breakfast and then head to the Ranger station for a briefing about
your Gorilla trekking. For mountain gorilla trekking, you will be accompanied by armed rangers
and guides in the forest to find the elusive Mountain Gorillas. Trekking is a physical activity as
you have to go through the forest, slashing at the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to get up-
close to the gorillas. Trekking mountain Gorillas can take between 2 to 9 hours. Upon reaching
the Gorillas, you will have one hour with them, you will interact with them and to take
photographs and Videos. You will head back to your accommodation after the activity.
Dinner and overnight stay at your camp accommodation.
Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast, you will start the drive back to Kampala with lunch en route in Mbarara town. You
